The University Club was founded to foster community and culture. Like the mighty oak trees for which our neighborhood was named, The University Club’s roots run deep in providing our members and their guests with a place to convene, socialize, and foster the strong values and mission of the University of Pittsburgh. We take pride in offering curated programs that entertain, enlighten, and bring value to our members’ daily routines.

  • Membership is available to current Pitt faculty and staff, Pitt alumni, current UPMC employees, Pitt retirees, and emeritus professors

  • Referral memberships are also available to non-Pitt affiliates with an endorsement from a current member in good standing

The UCLUB Newsletter is release on the last day of the month and gives the upcoming month’s events, ongoing UCLUB Restaurant specials, Member Clubs, and Member Birthdays

    • Men’s & women’s locker rooms with courtesy day use lockers, private showers, and towel service

    • Personal long-term lockers rentals available for an additional fee

    • Guests must be always accompanied by the primary member when visiting The University Club unless otherwise approved by the Membership department in advance.

    • The primary member shall be responsible for their guests and their conduct while at The University Club.

    • The University Club has the right to terminate guest privileges from a primary member at any time.

    • The University Club has the right to remove any guest that threatens the peace and safety of its members and staff.

    • Members may not host more than 20 guests at the same time in The University Club’s member lounge & restaurants unless otherwise approved in advance.

  • Gain access to additional clubs and all the amenities they have to offer. Whether you’re traveling around the country or just looking for a change of pace, it’s a great way to enhance your University Club experience.

    A letter of introduction is required to visit all reciprocal clubs.

    Letters of Introduction can be requested by contacting The University Club’s Membership coordinator directly at uclub@pitt.edu.

    University Club Members are responsible for making their own arrangements with the reciprocal club (overnight rooms, dining, parking, etc).

    Letters of introduction are valid for a 30-day period and can be sent in advance if needed to secure room reservations. An updated letter will need to be provided before arrival.

    All charges incurred at reciprocal clubs must be settled prior to your departure.

    Should the reciprocal club remove you or any of your guests guest that threatens the peace and safety of its members and staff your current membership at The University Club will go under review and may be revoked.

    Guests cannot be sponsored to use reciprocal clubs. The primary member must be present with them at all times.
